Huayen Chan Kuan Bilingual Retreat Saturday

The Dyad form of Contemplative Self Inquiry is a two person practice that combines Self-Inquiry as taught by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi with an interpersonal communication process to more quickly purify or clear" the mind with the intention of having a direct experience" of Our True Nature. This profound shift in consciousness is sometimes called Awakening, an Enlightenment Experience, or Self Realization. Good news!!! Isha Kriya Meditation is coming to Triple crane monastery on 2/9.

In this one hour session you will learn Isha Kriya,a simple 12-18 minute practice, to help you to become meditative effortlessly. Attain health, clarity and joy Isha Kriya does not require previous experience with meditation and can be done sitting in a chair. Designed by Sadhguru, a self-realized yogi and foremost authority in the field of yoga. isha Kriya sessions will be conducted by a trained instructor, after which ongoing online support will also be available.

Everyone could pick up a wisdom card (法語) during ceremony. Then enjoy traditional & delicious Chinese lunch. Other fun activities included Tea ceremony, learning calligraphy and dumping making.

三鶴道場誠邀五十三位善財童子2019全年點燈供佛

「過去佛陀在世時,有許多傑出的弟子,他們的長處各有不同,例如舍利弗是智慧第一、目犍連是神通第一,而阿那律則是天眼第一,他能清楚的觀看到三千大千世界,連非常微細的地方都能夠看得很清楚。 阿難知道了,就問佛說:『世尊,請問阿那律前世有何因緣,使他今世能夠有如此的天眼呢?』 佛回答說:『在過去約九十一劫前,毘婆尸佛入涅槃後,那時阿那律是一個盜賊,他便到佛塔中去,想盜取財物。當他來到佛塔時,佛前的燈火已經快要熄滅了,他見了便趕緊以劍將燈蕊撥正,使燈火又恢復了光明。盜賊看著燈火,忽然感受到佛燈光明的威力,心裡不覺肅然起敬。他想,別人都願意拿物品來供佛了,我哪裡有偷盜的道理呢?因此,他就放下偷盜的念頭離去了。

Venerable Grand Master Meng Can(夢參)

Venerable Grand Master Meng Can was born in 1915 in Town of Kaitong in Heilongjiang Province of China. In 1931, Grand-Master was accepted at the feet of Master Xiuling(修林) and renounced the world at Temple Yaowang in Beijing. He was given the Dharma name “Jue Xing” and became a renounced disciple in the lineage of “Lin Ji”(臨濟宗) of Northern Wu Tai. Being a very humble spiritual seeker, Grand-Master refers himself as the name of “Meng Can”. Grand-Master took the vow to follow the code of constrain for monk in 1931. Upon the completion of the training, he paid pilgrim to the holy mountain of “Jiu Hua”, where he participated in the special ceremony which was held every sixty years to cut the hair and nails for Di Zang Monk who lived in this world between 696 and 794.
